Diarmuid has many years experience in the security and crowd management industry. He holds a bachelors degree from National University Ireland and a Masters Degree in Risk, Crisis and Emergency Management from the Scarman Centre at Leicester University, as well as numerous certificates and diplomas from leading security organisations.

He is a certified trainer for the Security Institute of Ireland, a member of the American Society of Industrial Security and a Fellow of International Institute of Security. He has also completed courses with the United Nations Training Institute and the American Military University.

Diarmuid is a regular guest lecturer at Galway Technical Institutes ‘Security Services' course.
